Welcoming Swedish Students to Taipei – Welcome Dinner Recap

Last Friday, we had the great pleasure of hosting the Welcome Dinner 2026 together with the Swedish Representative’s Office at the Swedish Residence in Taipei. Newly arrived Swedish students joined us for an evening filled with laughter, delicious food, and inspiring conversations.

During the evening, the students also got an introduction to the upcoming Young Professionals events this semester through a presentation by the YP Board. For those interested in joining our activities, we have many exciting events coming up for both students and members. We would like to thank everyone who made this evening so special. A special appreciation goes to Helena Reitberger, the Representative, Johan Henriksson, Deputy Representative, and Sophia Chang, Consular Officer, for your invaluable support. We are especially grateful to Helena for hosting us at the Residence and for creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the students to connect.

We would also like to thank our YP Board members 蔡鳳駿 Leo Tsai, Oline Brevik Svensson, Sherry Yu-Ting Yeh, Alex Pålståm, and for helping out and always supporting every event. Your energy and dedication truly make a difference.

It was truly a wonderful evening for the students to socialise, exchange experiences, and connect with the Swedish community here in Taiwan. We hope everyone enjoyed the evening as much as we did. Until next time!
