About Us
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei (SwedCham) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing Swedish business, trade, and investment in Taiwan.
As part of Team Sweden, SwedCham works closely with the Swedish Representative's Office, Business Sweden, the Swedish Trade and Invest Council, and other partners to promote Swedish interests in Taiwan. Our role is to provide a member-driven platform that supports Swedish companies and professionals through long-term engagement, trusted connections, and shared knowledge.

Our History
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei (Svenska Handelskammaren i Taipei, 台北市瑞典商務協會) was founded in 2012, by Louise Byström. Since its inception, SwedCham has been dedicated to building bridges between Sweden and Taiwan, creating a platform for collaboration, innovation, and mutual growth.
The Chamber was established to address the need for a formal network that could represent Swedish businesses and professionals in Taiwan, providing them with the resources and connections to thrive in a dynamic and competitive environment. Guided by a mission to promote Swedish innovation, technology, and sustainable practices, SwedCham has grown into a vital hub for the Swedish-Taiwanese business community.
