Swedish Games in Taipei with Young Professionals

The rain didn’t stop the Young Professionals from celebrating the Swedish tradition of Valborgsmässoafton (Walpurgis Night). Instead, we brought the energy (and the kubb!) under the roof at Maji Square.

For those new to it, kubb is a classic Swedish lawn game, typically played in teams during the summer where players take turns throwing wooden sticks to knock over their opponent’s blocks.

The Swedish community always knows how to make the most of any situation, and this time was no exception. What started as a cozy backup plan quickly became a lively and fun gathering, even attracting curious locals who joined in to try kubb for the first time (which we always love to see!).

A big thank you to everyone who showed up and made the afternoon such a fun time, this is exactly what the SwedCham Young Professionals community is all about.
