Visiting our Members: Nefab

The SwedCham Taipei team had the pleasure of visiting Nefab last week, where we gained deeper insight into their local operations, strategic role in the region, and their continuous efforts to drive sustainable supply chain transformation worldwide. What began as a local Swedish manufacturing company has developed into a global provider of sustainable industrial packaging, logistics, and digital services, supporting some of the world’s most advanced industries.

In Taiwan, Nefab plays an important role in supporting several advanced industries. While semiconductors remain an important sector, the company works across multiple areas of high-tech and industrial manufacturing, including data communication and cloud infrastructure, lithium-ion batteries and e-mobility, Healthcare equipment, Telecom, Energy, mining, and construction, reinforcing its position as a leading provider of sustainable industrial packaging and logistics solutions.

At the same time, Nefab continues to strengthen its local capabilities through ongoing investments, including the expansion of its product testing facilities. Testing is a critical part of packaging development, ensuring that each solution is carefully validated and tailored to customers’ specific logistics, safety, and transportation requirements. Through this continued development, Nefab aims to support a growing range of industries while building new partnerships and delivering innovative, sustainable packaging solutions for global supply chains.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Nefab Taiwan team for the insightful guided tour of their facilities and for the engaging discussions. We greatly appreciated the open exchange of ideas and perspectives and look forward to incorporating many of the insights shared into our future initiatives and collaborations.
