Are you eager to gain hands-on experience in international trade while spending a year in one of Asia’s most dynamic and international cities? Do you have a passion for Swedish business and culture? Are you a social, outgoing person looking to expand your professional network?
If so, you could be our next intern!
Thanks to a grant from the Scholarship Fund for Swedish Youth Abroad, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei is offering a unique paid internship for 2026–2027. This is a fantastic opportunity for young, entrepreneurial talents to develop their skills in international trade and business.

As an intern, you will play a key role in the Chamber’s daily operations, gaining valuable experience while immersing yourself in Taiwanese culture—and improving your Chinese along the way!
About the Internship
Location: SwedCham Taipei Office
Duration: 1 year (October 2026 – September 2027)
Start Date: October 2026

Your Role
As an intern, you will:
Assist in organizing business events, networking sessions, and social gatherings
Support marketing efforts, including social media content creation and website updates
Conduct research and administrative tasks to support Chamber activities
Engage with members and partners to strengthen the Chamber’s network
Lead and develop the Young Professionals platform, organizing events and activities for young professionals in Taipei
Who You Are
Swedish National
Studying or recently completed a relevant university programme
Fluent in spoken and written English
Strong communication skills in Mandarin Chinese
Social, fearless, and ambitious
High level of initiative, sound judgement, and decisiveness in completing tasks
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and pay attention to detail
Genuinely interested in representing Sweden and promoting business and trade
Available to work in Taipei from October 2026 to September 2027
