We are very pleased to share that Johan Skaredal is standing for another term as Supervisor on the SwedCham Taipei Board.

Based in Taipei, Johan is a self-employed investor involved in a variety of businesses. He previously spent nine years working in research program management for a major Swedish business association within the built environment sector, where he operated at the intersection of industry, academia, and government. Through this work, he gained valuable experience in stakeholder engagement, program coordination, and industry collaboration.

A long-term resident of Taiwan, Johan speaks and writes Mandarin, which has enabled him to build strong connections within the local community and contribute actively to Swedish–Taiwanese exchange.

Over the past years, Johan has been deeply engaged in supporting the Swedish community in Taiwan. He has helped operate the Swedish School of Taipei and is also a familiar face at many SwedCham events. As an experienced treasurer and engaged Board Supervisor, he hopes to continue contributing by supporting and overseeing the financial management of the Chamber, building on the work he has carried out during his current term.

We are very grateful for Johan’s expertise, dedication, and strong engagement with the Chamber community. For Johan, SwedCham represents a unique community and a repository of Swedish culture in Taiwan. Contributing to the Chamber on an ongoing basis adds meaning to his life, and he believes that a durable and well-organized foundation for bilateral exchange can play an important role in strengthening long-term Sweden–Taiwan relationships.

🙏 We sincerely appreciate Johan’s continued willingness to dedicate his time and energy to contribute his experience, financial oversight, and commitment to the Swedish community in Taiwan.
