Board Candidate Spotlight: Barun Neogy

We are very pleased to share that Barun Neogy is standing for another term as a Board of Director on the SwedCham Taipei Board.

Barun currently serves as Business Line Manager – Oil Free Air (OFA) at Atlas Copco Taiwan. He joined Atlas Copco India in 1999 as a Sales Engineer and has since held several roles within the organization. In 2017, he took on a global role at Atlas Copco’s Compressed Air headquarters in Belgium, where he gained extensive international experience working across different markets and industries.

Today, as part of the Atlas Copco Taiwan Management Team, Barun is responsible for strengthening the Oil Free Air (OFA) business line in Taiwan, with the goal of ensuring Atlas Copco remains “First in Mind, First in Choice” in compressed air solutions for its customers.

Through his experience across sectors such as construction, mining, and general industry, as well as working with professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds, Barun brings valuable industry knowledge and an international perspective to the Chamber.

For Barun and Atlas Copco, the Chamber represents an important platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the Swedish business community in Taiwan. We are also very grateful for the close connection SwedCham shares with Barun and his colleagues at Atlas Copco, who have long been supportive and engaged members of the Chamber community.
