A Warm Welcome to Our New Individual Member - William Andersson

We are delighted to welcome William Andersson as the newest Individual Member of the SwedCham Taipei community.

Originally from Sweden, William has spent the past 15 years living, studying, and working in Taiwan. After starting his career in real estate, he moved into recruitment within Taiwan’s semiconductor industry before joining Taylor Hopkinson, now part of Brunel, where he works as an APAC Contract Consultant supporting renewable energy projects across the region.

William is already a familiar face at SwedCham events. Last semester, he participated as a speaker at our Young Professionals career path event on "How Do You Build a Career in Asia?. In a fireside chat setting, William shared insights from his own career journey, discussing challenges, lessons learned, and reflections on what he wishes he had known earlier in his career. We are truly grateful for his valuable insight, kind contributions and his continued engagement with the SwedCham community.

His motivation for joining the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Taipei is to stay connected with the Swedish community in Taiwan, share Swedish culture, and contribute to strengthening the ties between Sweden and Taiwan. William also looks forward to meeting new people and taking part in the many engaging events organized by the Chamber.
