We are very pleased to introduce Sam Cheng from SKF Taiwan, who is standing for election to the Board of Directors for the first time. We are also very thankful for Sam’s willingness to step forward and contribute to the SwedCham community.

Having spent many years with SKF, Sam brings with him a deep understanding of both the business and the broader industrial landscape in Taiwan. In his role as Program Manager, PMO, he leads strategic initiatives and operations for SKF’s Industrial Region, working closely with teams to turn long-term goals into practical, measurable outcomes.

Sam’s strengths lie in his structured and forward-looking approach — combining strategic vision with a strong focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement. At the same time, he brings a genuine interest in how innovation and technology can support sustainable growth and long-term competitiveness.

For Sam, the Chamber plays an important role as a platform for collaboration and shared progress. He sees clear opportunities to further strengthen industry-specific exchanges, encourage joint initiatives between member companies, and expand learning and development opportunities across the community.

With his steady perspective, hands-on experience, and commitment to working closely with others, Sam brings a thoughtful and grounded contribution to the SwedCham community.
