Celebrate Valborg with SwedCham Taipei

We invite you to celebrate Valborgsmässoafton (Walpurgis Night) with us on 30 April, a cherished Swedish tradition marking the arrival of spring. This year’s celebration consists of two parts, with the main focus on our evening Afterwork, complemented by a Young Professionals pre-event earlier in the day.
Main Event: Valborg Afterwork
Join us for an evening of networking, celebration, and Swedish spring spirit together with Damn at Maji Square. This is the main event of the day and we warmly welcome all members and guests to join. During the evening, CITO will also organize fun traditional games, something you won’t want to miss!

Time: 18:00 – late
Venue: Damn, Maji Square
Registration: There is no registration fee and each person pays for what they order directly at the bar. Please register to help us keep track of the numbers and prepare activities suitable for the group size.

Young Professionals Pre-Event: Kubb in the Park
Our YP community will gather earlier in the day for a relaxed afternoon in Yuanshan Park, playing traditional Swedish lawn games before heading together to the afterwork. This starts at 15:00 on the same day and takes place close to Maji Square.
Participation fee: SwedCham Members: Free / Non-members: NTD 100
The exact meeting point at Yuanshan Park will be communicated to participants closer to the date.
