We are very pleased to introduce William Andersson, one of our newest individual members, who is standing for election to the Board of Directors for the first time. We are especially thankful for William’s positive energy and active participation in the SwedCham community from the very beginning.
Based in Taiwan, William works as an APAC Contract Consultant in the renewable energy sector, supporting international companies with talent acquisition, workforce mobility, and market entry across the region. With over 15 years of living and working in Taiwan, he brings a unique combination of local insight and international perspective.
What makes William’s journey particularly special is how naturally he bridges cultures. Fluent in Mandarin and deeply integrated into the local business environment, he connects Swedish and Taiwanese ways of working with ease — offering practical, on-the-ground understanding of everything from talent challenges to regulatory landscapes.
William sees the Chamber as a space for open dialogue, shared learning, and meaningful connection — where members can support one another in navigating the realities of doing business in Taiwan and across the region. His experience across sectors, from semiconductors to renewable energy, gives him a broad and pragmatic perspective on the opportunities and challenges our members face.
With his strong cross-cultural background, hands-on experience, and genuine enthusiasm for community-building, William brings both fresh perspective and great energy to the table.
We are very glad to see William stepping forward and contributing to the continued growth of the SwedCham community.
