🌼 Swedish Midsummer Celebration in Taipei 🌼
Join us as we celebrate one of Sweden's most beloved traditions right here in Taipei!
On Saturday, 27 June, the Sweden-Taiwan community will gather in Yuanshan Park for an afternoon of flower crown making, singing, dancing, and enjoying the magic of Swedish Midsummer together.
In Sweden, Midsummer is a time when friends and families come together outdoors to welcome the brightest days of the year. Flower crowns are woven, traditional songs are sung, and people dance around the maypole before settling down for picnics and good company.
To make the celebration more comfortable in the Taiwanese summer heat, we have adjusted the timing and will begin at 16:30, when the day starts to cool down and the park becomes a perfect setting for an outdoor gathering.
Feel free to bring your own picnic blanket and snacks, and celebrate Midsummer Swedish style with us!
