PPWR: EU's New Packaging Regulation

The EU's Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)​will take effect on 12 August 2026, introducing stringent new packaging requirements for companies exporting to the EU. This regulation mandates specific criteria for sustainability, recyclability, reusability, and packaging minimization. Non-compliance will result in significant fines and potential market restrictions.
